Changes in ASEAN Cosmetic Directive

At the 27th ASEAN Cosmetic Committee Meeting, a series of updates were agreed.

The updates include:
- A ban on three fragrance allergens
- An update of directive of use in cosmetic products containing hair dye ingredients
- A restriction of use of Zinc Oxide
- A restriction of use of one preservative

These changes follow the updating of the Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 in Europe.
