Vacuum & Steam Cleaners
|Ample Ascent Int'l Ltd offers a powerful vacuum cleaner with a four-stage filtration system and HEPA filter, as well as a steam cleaner to eliminate bacteria and mites|
Hong Kong manufacturers of vacuum and steam cleaners are known for presenting the market with fresh, innovative products - just one reason why many seek to partner with these suppliers year after year.
Talentone Development Ltd, for example, offers innovation in vacuum cleaners, which the company has been manufacturing for more than 20 years. The firm's model VC-619 is a cordless, rechargeable "stick" vacuum type that features a cyclonic cleaning mechanism that provides up to 50% more efficiency. "The cyclonic structure employs centrifugal force, which ensures maximum airflow," says sales and marketing director Joe Fong.
This vacuum cleaner currently has "patent pending" status, and features include a multi-filter system, compact design, a detachable body unit that acts as a hand-held cleaner, foldable, rotating brush head, crevice tool and washable filter bag.
"The power consumption on average is 70W, but higher ratings are possible, and it has a suction range of around 16 inches, a volume of 0.5 litres and comes in multiple colour options," says Fong.
The FOB Hong Kong unit price is US$30-40 depending on the power rating, for delivery 75 days after order confirmation. The company is capable of producing some 300,000 pieces at its ISO 9001-certified, 100,000-square-foot, 400-worker factory in Shenzhen on the Chinese mainland.
Talentone finds its major markets in the US, Europe and the Middle East. The minimum order is one TEU. "Our own brands are HomeTalent and Helix, and new items are introduced every three months," Fong advises.
While only established in 2006, Ample Ascent Int'l Ltd has found success globally for its range of vacuum and steam cleaners. "We manufacture a range of home electrical products including cleaners and are the sole agent for the 'A Plus' brand," says managing director Veronica Lee.
One popular model is VC-BnB, a vacuum with stainless steel tubing, which either comes with a bag or bagless. Priced at US$31.73 each FOB Shanghai, it has maximum power of 1400W, three-litre dust capacity, a six-metre long power cord, a four-stage filtration system and a HEPA filter, and comes with a crevice tool, upholstery brush and round brush.
The minimum order is one FEU and delivery time varies according to the product but is around 30-35 days after order confirmation.
"Also in demand is model VSC-350," adds Lee. "This is a steam cleaner that disinfects and kills bacteria and mites and is ideal for removing dirt and grime from tiles, ovens, windows and more."
This model also features a 0.35 litre water container and can provide eight minutes of continuous steam. Power rated at 950W, the unit has a jet, 90-degree angle and spray nozzle options, a cleaning brush, a window cleaning tool and an upholstery cleaning head. It is unit-priced at US$10.97.
A robot vacuum cleaner is one of Uama (Asia) Industrial Co Ltd's best-selling new items. Model RV-11 features automatic sweeping and vacuum functions and has built-in components that prevent it from falling down stairs or going outside a specified area. It is rated at 40W with a 17W suction capability and a 0.7 litre dust capacity. It can operate for up to 30 minutes before being recharged.
Established in 1998, the company makes a variety of vacuums including robot, steam, cylinder and upright models. "One of the latest models in steam cleaners is UVC-9018, which is in demand because of its compact size and functionality," explains assistant manager Angel Leung.
According to Leung, the product is only about one-third of the size of other steamers with similar functions and features. It has suction power of 90W, water filtration, a HEPA filter, 1.5 litre capacity and comes with dusting brush, crevice nozzle, round nozzle and plastic brush.
"Steam cleaners offer the additional cleaning force of steam, which at more than 100蚓 can kill bacteria and remove odours and, when combined with the removal of dirt and dust, means almost zero pollution remaining," says Leung.
The company has an ISO 9002- and ISO 9001-certified, 2,000-worker, 80,000-square-metre factory in Suzhou on the Chinese mainland with a monthly production capacity of 400,000 units.
The minimum order is one FEU, and major markets are the US, the UK, Germany, France and Italy. Delivery time is 35-45 days after order confirmation.
Meanwhile, Newstone Int'l has a delivery time of 45 days for its selection of electrical products, which includes a small range of vacuum cleaners.
A recent model is NVC-106, a bagless design with up to 2000W of power, high suction capabilities and a 2.5 litre dust capacity. It also features a cyclonic system, a five-layer filter, speed control, and overheat and overflow protection mechanisms. Various colour options are available. The vacuum is unit-priced at US$27 FOB Hong Kong.
Established in 1984, the company has a 500-worker factory in Ningbo on the Chinese mainland with a monthly production capacity of about 20,000 items. The minimum order is one FEU. "Our products are popular in the Middle East, Europe and the US," says marketing manager Rita Tong, adding that the company's own brand is Newstone.
To clean up the competition, simply source your vacuum and steam cleaners from Hong Kong manufacturers.
