Better
Sourcing at
http://sourcing.tdctrade.com
The highly
successful online sourcing platform that has been the first choice
of smart buyers for the past nine years is now bigger and better
than ever.
The Hong
Kong Trade Development Council has revamped and relaunched tdctrade.com
sourcing at http://sourcing.tdctrade.com with several significant
enhancements designed to making sourcing even easier for local
and overseas buyers alike.
These include:
- a substantially
increased supplier database
- enhanced
search functions
- a global
network that significantly shortens download time
- the launch
of a simplified Chinese-character version
The refinements
will ensure that tdctrade.com sourcing remains the most rewarding
online sourcing solution, offering the fastest and most accurate
search engine, TDC head of publications and e-commerce Clare Wong
says.
"The
enhanced platform provides the most in-depth company information
and a comprehensive database of suppliers and buyers and customer-oriented
services that make doing business even easier than before,"
Wong insists.
She says
tdctrade.com sourcing is a Hong Kong-based sourcing platform that
provides added value in the form of international connections
and world-class business knowledge, and acts as a gateway to the
Chinese mainland.
"It
also leverages the TDC's extensive network of 40 overseas offices,
ensuring it is the natural choice for buyers who want to do business
in Asia in general and Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland in particular,"
Wong adds.
She notes
that tdctrade.com sourcing had 594,731 registered buyers as at
July 31, 2005, as certified by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, and over
35 million company records were retrieved from August 1, 2004
to July 31, 2005.
Most visitors
are from the Americas (56%), with the rest split between Australia,
the Middle East and South America. "Some 26% of members are
importers, 18% are wholesalers and retailers or distributors,
16% are manufacturers and 15% are exporters, providing a comprehensive
balance that meets the needs of all business sectors," Wong
