Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair
Kids' World and Ladies' Gifts and Premiums proved magnetic attractions for the 54,875 buyers who thronged the halls of Asia's largest and the world's second-largest gifts fair.
They viewed the multitude of offerings from the record-breaking 3,879 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions, a 10% increase on the previous year.
In fact, there were so many eager exhibitors that the Hong Kong Trade Development Council opened a new Expo Drive Hall that added 7,000 square metres for an additional 330 booths.
Long established as an important sourcing centre for giftware, the fair caters for a wide spectrum of industries producing everything from basic items such as stationery and party decorations to sophisticated goods like ceramics and fashion jewellery.
This year's event will again feature numerous Hong Kong companies that have been moving upmarket by using more advanced technology, developing innovative designs and attractive packaging and improving product quality.
Doubtless many of these companies will be featured in the Hall of Fine Designs, a premier section devoted to showcasing exquisite and upmarket gift items.
